Goddess Answers

Some time in 2007, a website appeared. Quietly, with no fanfare.

It asked a simple question - "If you had an audience with the Goddess, what would you ask Her?"

People came to the site. They asked questions.

Then they waited. Some forgot they had even asked anything.

But something happened.

Someone, somewhere, heard the answers.

This person does not want publicity.

This person does not want praise and adulation.

This person does not want to become the next Neale Donald Walsch (Conversations With God).

This person wants to go on living a quiet life in a nondescript part of the world.

But the answers - the answers belong to all of us.

And here they are.

Oh, my child, my beloved, my darling, Take yourself to a place where the sounds of people are distant. Take yourself to a beach, a forest, a mountain, a desert. Take yourself to a deserted park in the night time. Take yourself to a place within your heart that is peaceful and secluded.

Sit. Rest. Listen. Listen for Me. In the sounds of the wind, in the movement of trees, of water, of the air upon your skin, between each tiny movement, in between the softest sounds, in between each breath you take, you will feel Me, listening.

When you do this, my child, when you hear me between your breaths, when you feel me between the beats of your heart, then are you praying to Me.

When you walk, when you sing to your child, when you clean your house, when you prepare food, when you look at the sky, when you stretch your weary muscles at the end of a long day, then are you praying to Me.

When you remember joy, when you imagine a future surprise, when you feel wonder, when you imagine yourself in the place of another and feel their pain, then are you praying to Me.

When you see Beauty, when you feel Love, when a child laughs, when grief breaks for just a moment, when your heart lifts and you smile unexpectedly, then am I praying to You.

Walk freely, my daughter, in the direction you are facing. Love the people who are right in front of you. Enjoy the surroundings, breathe deep, and savour every experience.

The time will come when something catches your eye, and catches your soul at the same time. In that moment, you will turn. Without thought, without effort, without planning, without stress. You will simply find yourself facing that something. And you will walk freely toward it.

Maybe you will reach it.

Maybe another something will catch your eye and your soul along the way, and maybe you will turn again.

Others may watch your wandering, and they may ask you where you are going. You do not need to answer such questions.

I have drawn your path, and placed within you the compass you need to find it. Your journey will make sense to you, in the end, but it may never make sense to the mind of another.

For your path is not written in the language of means and ends, of ambitions and plans, of struggle and accomplishment. Your path is written in the language of Beauty. It traces a pattern in Love and Acceptance. And your soul sings in harmony when you follow My tracings in space and time.
